At our Summer Camps, kids are grouped by age and, with the help of our English-speaking tutors, bring a full musical and physical theatre performance to life – entirely in English!
The shows are based on original scripts by Rupert Raison, Juliet Turnbull, and Hamish Stansfeld, with both the story and staging adapted to match each group’s age and English level.
Mornings are spent rehearsing the show, while afternoons are packed with fun, creative activities—all in English. The week culminates in a Friday afternoon performance for parents, and every child leaves with a certificate of participation.

We want everyone to feel part of the group and really enjoy the experience – a full dive into theatre and English! Throughout the week, students are gently encouraged to speak English in all sorts of fun, engaging activities, making learning feel completely natural.

Each one is carefully chosen for their ability to connect with every student, helping them grow in confidence with English while also exploring theatre, dance, and singing.

The camp runs Monday to Friday, with the performance on Friday afternoon open to parents, friends, and family.
Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Minimum numbers
A minimum of 16 participants is required to run a full-day camp, preferably grouped by age.
Lead teacher
We look for a friendly, reliable Lead Teacher for each Summer Camp.
This role is key – you’re our on-the-ground partner, making sure everything runs smoothly and everyone has a fantastic experience, even before we arrive!
What do they do?
- Spread the word about the Summer Camp to parents
- Confirm the camp and manage deposits
- Welcome children each day and see them off at pick-up time
- Greet the tutors on the first day and help them settle in
- Be on hand to support tutors throughout the week
- Assist participants during meal times
- Help find host families for the tutors

How to Book a Summer Camp
- Choose the week you’d like to host the Summer Camp, then follow these steps:
- Get in touch at 011 658992 or infoactiontheatre@gmail.com to check availability and make initial contact.
- Coordinate with school leadership (Principal and Administrative Staff) to handle the necessary paperwork.
- Inform parents about the project—we’ll provide ready-to-send materials you can share online with families.
- Collect registrations and deposits by April 5, 2026, so we can confirm the exact number of participants and officially activate the Summer Camp.

How Does the Speaking and Comprehension Session Work?
The English learning part of the camp is designed with the guidance of language teachers and led by our English-speaking tutors. Included in the fee, each student receives a fun, colorful Workbook, specially created by our language experts to match their English level.
We know your children have already been studying all year with their teachers, so we designed this part of the camp to be a calmer, more relaxed time after a busy morning of physical activities, theatre, and games. It’s a chance to review what they’ve learned during the year, practice conversation and comprehension, and clear up any questions with a friendly native tutor.
How Is lunch organized?
Lunch is provided by families as a packed lunch, or, if the school cafeteria is available, children can eat there.
