Learning focus
Verb tenses, modal verbs, question tags, if clauses, superlative and comparatives, make + object + verb/adjective, let’s + base verb, linking words/time expressions (e.g. in a moment, after that, first of all, by the time), phrasal verbs, idiomatic language, introduction to Shakespearean language (e.g. good morrow, wherefore art thou Romeo?), emotions.

The award-winning actress and comedian Hannah Croft presents Shakespeare’s Got Talent, an interactive and entertaining educational experience that brings Shakespeare to life. Using the familiar format of a contemporary talent show, the legendary English playwright takes the stage as a contestant, willing to do anything to prove his genius to today’s world.
Hannah guides students through Shakespeare’s works, exploring language, plot, emotions, drama, and themes of human nature through games and comedic sketches. This interactive and engaging journey makes one of the greatest authors in English literature fun and accessible to all.
The Workshow concludes with a final vote: students act as judges, just like on a real talent show, deciding whether Shakespeare truly deserves the title of the greatest English-language writer of all time.
